problem #1

Feb 202015

ES 350 Sedan 3.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 110,000 miles

This is my 3rd Lexus, never had a problem with the others. The slipping started about 75000 miles and got worst to the point I pulled up to the window at McDonald's and it would not move for several minutes. I am really pissed to have to rebuild a transmission at 110K miles at the cost of $2500, it took a week and I had to pay for a rental car. The shop that rebuilt it said they had been rebuilding transmissions for over 30 years and had never had a Lexus with mileage that low to need service, much less rebuilt.
