We noticed the peeling of the paint and went back to the dealer. First service person said contact the company, EC Bond. Called EC Bond and they said they only deal with the dealer. Went back to Tustin Lexus, where we bought this vehicle and asked for the Service Manager. He took pictures and sent me to the Body and paint shop the use. The estimate was $5700. The estimator said he hadn’t seen anything like it.
Service manager didn’t call so we again called. He said that Lexus wasn’t responsible for the bad paint - that the damage was caused by other factors.
Is there any help for us? We paid $995 for paint protection and now we have an unsellable car.
