ES 350 LX V6

  • Automatic transmission

I was pulling into my parking space in the building where I live, turning left into the space to center the vehicle. The car lurched forward on its own. I realized it was out of control, slammed on the brake, and my foot slipped slightly panicking me. It was just a second or two. The car hit the wall; I don't know for sure that the brakes ever engaged, the space was so limited. Lexus has cherry picked my statements claiming I lost control of the car when my foot slipped on the brake. That was AFTER the surge.

The GEICO inspector said the airbags should not have deployed at that speed, in that space. The airbags caused the worst hematoma in my breast that my doctor has EVER seen. There was a lot of pain and anxiety. I may still have to have it drained. My good knee, the right, still pains me two months later. For about two weeks, I felt my brain had been affected as I was not my usual quick witted self.
