The previous owner said this happened since long time before. I used Shack-hands method to find the code and Googled. The Lexus error is B1153. It is covered by 72K warranty. The previous owner couldn't know it, otherwise could have got it fixed. There is TSB about this issue. I ordered the parts and replaced the cable
