This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Lexus dealer.
The 2016 Lexus 200t is a extremely fine sport automobile to own as it is my first Lexus. My wife is on her 2nd Lexus RX350.
I can only give high praises on every aspect of this car, except one. "Turbo Lag" is dangerous from a dead stop to on-coming or ahead of moving traffic. I have learned after 3 attempts to NOT pull in front of any moving auto that is with 75 feet on my front grill. Lag can be up to or near approaching 2 seconds.
The local Lexus dealership does not want to help or cannot help," this is the way they built the car, get used to it".
I believe Lexus should address the problem, as I have seen several posts on the internet. Anybody has any suggestions, please respond.
Thanks!

Started feeling a turbo boost fluctuation while accelerating, also a weird humming sound from the left side of the engine. Doing research I found many people from the Lexus community having the same problem and getting their cars to the dealership. The dealership finds replacing the boost regulator fixes the issue and also eliminates the humming sound from the engine. Lexus should take a deep look into this issue. The part number is LEX 25819-0w010.
