The contact owns a 2006 Lexus Is 250. While driving 50 mph the accelerator pedal was stuck under the floor mat. As a consequence, he had to shift the vehicle into park to decelerate which caused a truck to crash into the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle was extensively damaged. There were no injuries. An authorized technician stated that the failure was not caused by a defect. The vehicle identification number was unavailable. The failure and current mileages were 35000. Updated 10/13/09. Accelerator pedal stuck down going at a speed of less than 5 miles an hour while turning out of a parking lot. Foot brake and emergency brake were applied but the car would not stop which resulted in an accident. When my car hit the other car, the accelerator popped back up.
