Lexus knows about and will not fix the 1st generation of direct fuel injection on the IS250/350 engines model years 2006-2013. Lexus claims to me that when in cold climates the fuel will condense on cylinder walls and then contaminate the oil. This running rich problem then causes the engine computer to trip or present failure codes and then deactivating the vehicle stability control safety functions that are needed when the car Is driven in cold climates. Lexus said they had a program in place to deal with this problem but it expired before my car presented symptoms, this was due to the car being stationed with me in warm climates from 2008 to 2012. Lexus refuses to help rectify the situation.

There is an electronic computer that controls the ABS brakes on Toyota/Lexus and if it goes bad it can cause you to lose your brakes! my wife and I almost crashed! when the brakes went out, they felt squishy and check engine light, vsc, lights went on. Then the brakes got real sensitive, I either got it to come to screeching stop in traffic or barely come inches from rear ending the car in front of us.
