The visual displays on the center dashboard console indicating HVAC and audio information for the Lexus Is 250 C are so light as to be virtually invisible to the driver, particularly in bright sun and when the driver is wearing sunglasses. This causes the driver to take his eyes off the road for prolonged periods of time as he tries to discern information which should be clearly visible with just a glance. Distracting a driver from giving his full attention to the road can constitute a serious safety hazard.
