Although my VIN is beyond the published recall line-up, the issue remains the same. Dash and LH Front Panel react with the Texas Heat even with precautions using of the dealer-purchased Sun Shade, Tinted Windows, and Venting the Cabin with partially opened windows and sunroof. What's interesting is the fact that the Dash Panel Part Numbers from 2009-2012 are identical. Very pleased with the vehicle otherwise.
The real question is - how toxic to a person's health is the faulty material when the heat causes the material to out-gas? It's invisible and odorless. This problem needs to be acknowledged and correctly resolved on behalf of the manufacturer.
