The contact owns a 2011 Lexus Is 350. While driving various speeds, the vehicle failed to accelerate past 30 mph. The check engine light illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the high pressure fuel pump failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 14V647000 (fuel system, gasoline). The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure.
