This is actually a common problem with the first and second gen model years. No car is perfect, not even Toyota. I still love this old baby and she will never die, but keep in mind, she is a thirsty one. The odometer isn't accurate and no fix that I know of could be made. Usually, the speedometer is 10-15 miles below actual speed on the road. Gas gauge isn't working and temp gauge works but doesn't light up. RPM gauge works fine though as with the rest of this car. This could also be due to age. As of this time, the girl is 27 years old!!! And she still runs!!!
