Lexus Ls 2007..trunk will not open...numerous attempts open the trunk has failed. Several mechanic has tried to open the trunk and couldn`T not open the trunk. Checked the fuses, tried the key fob, the valet switch in the glove compartment was checked. The button under the trunk lid handle did not open the trunk. The trunk release button under the dashboard was unresponsive. Used the physical key in the trunk and it open about 1/4", but still won`T open. The emergency latch in the trunk would not open the trunk either. I case of an emergency, I am unable to gain entrance to the trunk...flat tire, child accidently locked in the trunk..etc. The vehicle was stationary when the problem occurred.

My interior of my 2007 Lexus LS460 appears to be melting! I am not sure what is causing this problem as I use a sun shade... the dash and door panels are stickys and gummy.... Lexus told me there is nothing they will do about it.... I consider this very unacceptable from a $85K automobile!
