A message also informed the driver to -€œPull Over Immediately and Contact the Dealer-€. The contact was informed that the brake actuator needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 100,000.

The contact notified the manufacturer who stated that the vehicle was designed in that manner. The VIN was unavailable. The current and failure mileages were 64,721.

The contact stated that when driving 15 mph and under and simultaneously applying the brakes, there was a loud banging noise coming from the front end of the vehicle. The vehicle was then taken to the dealer and they stated that the failure was abnormal and performed a diagnostic. The diagnostic test did not produce a failure code however; the dealer repaired the bushings and the upper control arms. The vehicle continued to experience the same failure after the repairs were performed. The failure mileage was 17,000 and the current mileage was 19,000.
