My car is a 2007 LS460. I bought it new in Sep 07. It currently has 35,000 miles on it. On several different occasions during my ownership of this car, it has failed to accelerate, in response to the accelerator pedal, at low speeds. This performance issue only lasts a few hundred miles and then the car returns to perfect for an extended period. This can be very dangerous in certain situations. About 18 months ago, I made the correlation that this strange behavior occurs right after an oil change. Since that time I have paid special attention and there is no doubt in my mind that it is related to the oil change. Many other owners have reported this in internet car forums.

The speed control in my 2007 Lexus LS460 fails to disconnect when light pressure (tap) is applied to brakes at any speed. A slight deceleration is noticed, however, the speed control does not disconnect as on every other vehicle I have owned. My dealership has looked at the problem and Lexus corporate sent a special technician to investigate my concern. I was told that this is the way the Lexus speed control works.
