For the Ls460, there was a recall due to interior component deterioration during Covid. I believe that during COVID lockdowns, dealerships were understaffed, as I was unable to schedule an appointment. When I contacted after the COVID lockdowns were over, I was informed that I was unable to complete the recall. The interior of the car is now deteriorating far worse. How can I get an extension of this recall?

The dashboard and side trim on the door has become sticky causing glare in the windshield which makes driving hazardous as difficult to see through the windshield while driving. Our 2007 Lexus LS460 has only 23,000 miles on it as it has been garaged most of the time we have owned it. Lexus will not process a recall to cover this issue. Legally they have a 'duty of care' with the manufacturing of this vehicle which they are refusing to meet.

Experiencing both the dreaded brake actuator assembly issue as well as the very common mark levinson amplifier issue, on model # 0W480. Was in conversation with Lexus customer satisfaction and they are completely unwilling to step in and do the right thing in assisting me with either, or both, problems. I've owned this vehicle for all of 2 months, and although I understand that I bought it used, as-is with higher mileage, I think that since there was a recent warranty enhancement program issued by Lexus on the brake actuator assembly, and also that the failed amplifier is a very, very well-known issue, where the amplifier all of a sudden one day cuts out and all sound is replaced by an incessant chirping noise that's only stopped by pulling the wiring harness on the amp or a fuse, that Lexus should do the right thing by its loyal customers and replace free of charge. But they will not, because exactly like every other company in the entire world, they simply do not care about the customer or their experience. Sorry, but this is the only way I am able to view my experience.

My 2007 Lexus Ls 460 door panels as well as the dash get extremely sticky and shiny when the vehicle is parked in a sunny hot place. I have spoken with a Lexus representative and was told that even though they know about the problem and have extended the warranty for some of their vehicles, my VIN number was not one of the 'lucky' ones that would be covered. As some of the other complaints have stated, the shiny dash could be a safety hazard. Lexus knows they used inferior products and will not honor their commitment for excellence they claim for their cars. I am very disillusioned with Lexus, a luxury car should not be having problems because of cheap and inferior materials.

The car would at random excelerate slow or hesitate to move even if put the paddle to the floor. This will happen at random which makes me worry when making a left turn. This is a safety issue and the company needs to recall the cars

The dash board surface has become gummy and the reflection of the shiny, gummy surface on the windshield very frequently affects the visibility and impairs my capacity to see safely, specially on very sunny days. There has not been an incident yet, but I wanted to report this because I am afraid of the potential danger of an accident due to impaired visibility. I began noticing the dashboard's surface deterioration about two years ago, when the warranty had already expired.
