While parked on a sloped driveway with front of the car higher than the back, I opened the trunk and started to reach for an item in the trunk when the trunk lid came down on the back of my head. When I lifted the trunk lid so I can move away and then let go, it slowly came back down and stopped with slight clearance between the trunk lid and the bottom portion of the trunk. I took my car to a dealer for a warranty repair. They told me that the trunk lid is heavy so this is a normal behavior. I firmly believe that this is a defect and should be fixed by the manufacturer.
