The 2009 Lexus LS460 appears to have the same materials used on the 2007 & 2008 Lexus LS460's which were offered replacement under their good faith replacement plan after multiple class action lawsuits filed regarding this problem. For whatever reason the 2009 model year was not included in these complaints and does not seem eligible for replacement under the Lexus/Toyota replacement plans. The dash, door panels, glove box, B pillars, sides of the console, lower dash surround, pretty much all surfaces that do not have hard plastic or leather have this melting plastic material that if left in the heat turns very sticky with. Think of black tar that is starting to cure and put your arm in it on the door rest or the dash that is what these cars have and it is ridiculous. I cannot believe Lexus used these inferior materials and now do not stand behind their products, you would think for a car that is $70,000 new you would get better quality than this. LEXUS NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING TO REPAIR THIS BEFORE THEY LOSE VALUABLE LOYAL LEXUS CUSTOMERS!

I COMPLAINED TO LEXUS ISRAEL ABOUT THE STICKY DASHBOARD
- Alon E., Ashkelon, Israel
The materials that the dash board, glove box door, arm rest. door panels and basically all interior rubber are inferior in design and melt in heat and deteriorate over time causing them to scrape off and damage easily as well as a dramatic glare that makes it difficult to see while driving.
