This new navigation system requires you to include the street directional (NE, SW, etc. ) or the system can't find the street address. This seems odd that it is required on the full address voice prompt but not required if you use the clunky slow method of entering state, city then street name.
This week I was showing houses and had a route of 5 addresses. While traveling along a road, the navigation added numerous "loops" to the route. It would direct me down a street then have 4 right turns around a block to put me back in the same place to continue on down the same road. One loop went as far as 6 miles out of the way. This isn't a result of fastest, shortest or avoiding highways selections on the guidance system. It is a flaw in the routing software.
I don't know why Lexus messed with the perfectly logical/ user friendly navigation system of the RX. This navigation system is so bad, I'll likely have to buy a Garmin for navigation purposes since the dealer says it is working correctly. It has been back to the dealer 3x for Navigation issues.
