Purchased RX350 2007 Oct. 2014 with 31,900miles at $20k. Good deal considering it cost $45k new. WRONG....low mileage not always good on older vehicle as it was not driven much. Dealership pushed hard to get me to buy extended warranty - didn't. At 40k was told water pump showing leak & Steering rack & struts needed replaced. Replaced struts shortly after then at 51k the water pump & steering showing MORE evidence of leak etc. Considering I am a gal driving alone long distances I did get them replaced and repaired at a significant cost (which an extended warranty would not have covered). I asked if I should trade it off & was assured all else looked perfect.
Lesson learned - hard way to learn but was so disappointed with this outcome as I purchased a Lexus due to the high ratings of a reliable vehicle with little problems. My first and last Lexus - buy AMERICAN y'all - I have never had an issue with any of my Chrysler's or GM products and they had far more miles on them.

Very very unhappy with Lexus.
