Fuel pump is howling. There have been recalls for 2015/2017/2018/2019/2020 for the problem but not the 2016 RX 350. I called Lexus Canada and they advised there is a warranty enhancement due to low pressure high pressure problems with the fuel pump. A roundabout way of saying there is a defect but not admitting it. So I called my Lexus Dealer who I had already arranged for a service appointment for an oil change and they claim there is no such notice. So I called Lexus Canada back and they said oh that is because they have not inspected your vehicle yet. My response, So you have not told the dealers, response the dealers no. So it is the old story of hidden warranties where they are not being transparent with the customers. If they can they will hose them. I told them this is a 1980 tactic of Chrysler and a 1990 GM approach. So Lexus is no different they are being deceptive and skirting around problem to look like they have a high reliability record. Problem is after a few more miles they will say it is out of warranty and hose the customer.
