Lexus has failed to provide a timely repair for this simple recall issue, and has not provided any remedy or free loaner car. Their dealers rep has said to just "drive with the windows up, and you will be fine".

There is no fix available yet and my car is unsafe to drive. This is unacceptable to me as a consumer. Additionally I can not trade in my car to purchase a safer vehicle.

The recall was not communicated to me as consumer, when i saw online I was notified and then when called dealer i purchased car i was told -??we only sell call not part of manufacture process call corporate-?? and after calling lexus corporate i was told i could get loaner car since i dont feel safe but the dealer on the call with corporate said -??if not front air bag its not big deal-?? for a saftey recall. I told corporate since this is recorded call they have proof of the dealer service associate saying this to me and corporate said just please hang up and we will notify regional offices. I have yet to hear back, i dont think i should be told this recall isnt big deal if they have put hold on selling this car to public nor should be told its okay to drive. I would be given either loaner but dealer does not want to provide this or 55 a day but there is no lexus anywhere you can get for 55 dollars a day. There is not set remedy nor notification to the customer. This is beyond frustrating and do not feel safe by this car and dealer is telling me this recall is not big deal which is very inaccurate and misleading.
