The doors on our 2017 Lincoln Continental open while driving. We called the dealership and they said they cannot fix it for another year. It is unsafe to drive because of doors opening at times and not unlocking at times too. We called the dealership as soon as we found out this problem last year and they just told us to call this year, so we did - so basically we have to wait 2 years to get our Lincoln fixed? doors open while driving. Doors will not latch while driving or stationary.

We are dissatisfied with the level of service from the Lincoln motor company and serramonte Ford dealership in colma, California, with specific reference to the case, cas-1758606, recall 19S03 and NHTSA recall # 1V-077. Our vehicle's driver door will not close and is unsafe to drive. The ongoing issue has been problematic for victoria sedan & limousine. The vehicle has been at the dealership since April 1, 2019, and has not been resolved even after contacting serramonte Ford, Ford headquarters as well as Lincoln concierge. We were denied a loaner vehicle or any sort of compensation for time loss and the lack of effort in resolving this issue in a timely manner has forced us to take a financial loss, reassign the chauffeur who had the vehicle and put a strain on our operations. What makes matters worse is that we have learned that one of our partners; with the same type of business had the same issue with their Lincoln Continental. They took it to the Ford Lincoln dealership in concord, California and were given a loaner while their car awaited the defective part which has since been repaired. This raises the question as to why our operation was treated differently. We are reaching out to you to see if you can H assist us getting the issue resolved as the agencies mentioned were unable to do so.
