This started with the outside door handles not operating. Then it progressed to the inside electric door buttons not working - and worst of all there is NO interior door latch for the back doors. If this car was in a wreck, there is no way to get out of the car or have someone open it from the outside - THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE AND I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THEY HAVE GOTTEN AWAY WITH IT. WHAT IF A CHILD IS IN THE BACK - I GUESS FORD THINKS THAT'S NOT A SUFFICIENT ENOUGH REASON FOR A RECALL. Ford had multiple recalls involving door latch issues with other cars - did they use these same door latches on the lincoln? We contacted dealer and they said there is a TSB bulletin 18-2327 advising to have the door latches replaced - but of course you have to pay for it. A door latch costs in excess of $700 for ONE latch - don't buy Ford/Lincoln!!
