LS 3.0L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 100,000 miles

Transmission went out at 84.000 miles. Contacted Ford Lincoln Co. They said they would contact owners if there was ever a recall but for now I would have to pay all cost for any repairs. There have been a number of complaints from owners about this same problem but Ford/Lincoln refuse to address this issue with this make of car, the Lincoln LS v6/v8 automatic transmission models 02-05. There are no laws to help the consumer because who can afford to fight Ford/Lincoln Motor co.

LS 3.9L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 24,000 miles

Small problem, will have looked at. Otherwise an excellent car. Has an occasional foul odor when accelerating to pass other vehicles, dont see any leakage around plug units (seemed to be culprit for some owners).
