The 17" chrome rims looked great when I first got the car but never thought that after extended exposure to road salt that the chrome would start peeling off and ultimately cause constant leaking with the tires. A temporary solution was to grind & seal the rims. This fix lasted anywhere from 6 months to 3-4 weeks. The Lincoln dealer told me that to buy new rims from the dealer the cost would be $1600 per rim and needed 4 rims, thats $6400 before paying the $30+ to have the times put on each rim. I just laughed and looked around online for a significantly more reasonable and rational price.
