A gas type odor enters cabin of vehicle. I believe it to be carbon monoxide. I often have to roll down the windows even in cold winter weather to prevent carbon monoxide from overtaking the cabin when the heating system is on.

On 11/30/2014, the glass sunroof exploded on my 2010 Lincoln Mkt while driving on the NY thruway at night, at highway speed, in clear weather, on straight, dry pavement -- very loud, startling explosion. Sunroof remained in place. Able to maintain control of vehicle. No injuries, but very frightening experience. Did not discover extent of damage until next morning, in daylight: Glass had remained in place and did not shatter, but spiderweb cracks throughout. Lincoln customer service department referred me to the sunroof manufacturer/supplier. No further response from anyone after my complaint in a telephone conversation with the sunroof supplier/manufacturer, shortly after the incident.

Takata recall. While driving on the highway, with no other vehicles near us, our moonroof exploded. We were not near any overpass. No other vehicle or person was involved. It is apparent that it exploded outward. This vehicle is garage kept. Nothing ever fell on top of car or scraped it. We are out $1000 + rental car exp.

After driving at high speed or high load and then coming to a stop, an exhaust smell will fill the cabin with visible smoke coming from under the hood. My friend was driving my car and said he almost passed out, while driving 50 mph, before opening a window. I have personally experienced this problem as well, thinking my car was on fire. Ford dealer says there is no recall or known fix for this problem.

The gears on this vehicle are not riding smooth, when your driving uphill it sounds and feels like it's falling apart. And the headlight on the driver side went out, they say it's not the bulb but an electrical issue..
