In take off from an idle the transmission has been slipping for months. I've taken the vehicle in several times to the Ford Service Department and they cannot fix it. I took it in 4 weeks ago and I was told after paying $2500 that it was fixed. Within two weeks the same problem is occurring. I take off from a stop light and have no power then the car lurches forward. This has been going on for a long time and every time we take the vehicle in Ford says there is nothing wrong with it.

We almost got in an accident a week ago because the car stalled so bad as we were pulling out into traffic. It happened again today twice in a row as i accelerated from a stop light - the car is running but has no power to move forward. Then it goes and doesn't grab again for a while. I called the service department again asking what I paid $2500 for and they said they were never able to get the car to replicate the issue so it has no issue.

Update from Sep 13, 2015: Transmission has completely failed at 96K miles - needs to be completely replaced
