I have Lincoln MKT 2013. The odometer reading is is 91,978 miles. I have a problem with my Lincoln touch screen (navigator) as follows:
1- I have no audio at all. The touch screen will not let me select the radio (AM or FM), but I can select CD, USB and others. But no sound at all.
2- When I pair my I-phone to my car Lincoln and call my friend, I can't hear her, but she hears me!
3- A/C turn on by itself.
4- I can't type my network password. The English password is not active.
I updated the Sync. System, also I did the Master Reset, but nothing has been fixed.
I typed my car VIN number in the Lincoln's website. It shows this message "12M02 sync with myFord MyLincoln touch warranty extension covering accessory Protocol Interface Module APIM.
I called Customer service many times. I hear many different answers, such as “sorry the warranty extension 12M02 is expire†but others said “Customer Satisfaction Program has no restriction on mileage and age, but repairs are to made only if the described condition occursâ€.
It is a big confusion and mess. Lincoln has a such sophisticated system, but this system can’t turn on the radio or shut off the A/C. “Oh My God†what the amazing system is it?
