Tailgate would randomly open when the vehicle was parked. We came out of the restaurant and is was open. We even placed the FOBs on the kitchen table to make sure we didn't accidentally depress the tailgate button. On two occasions (3 am), the tailgate opened, setting off the alarms. It didn't matter if the vehicle was level, inclined, or on a decline, the tailgate would randomly open. It never opened when the vehicle was in motion.
