When I enter my VIN regarding the Takata Airbags, it suggests that my vehicle has two airbag issues for which parts are not currently available. When I contacted customer service regarding the matter they also indicated that parts for my vehicle would not be available until the end of the year. HOWEVER, mysteriously after complaining about poor customer service at the Albany Ford/Lincoln Dealership in Albany, GA via the 1-800 customer number, my vehicle was returned to me indicating that one of the issues was resolved (passenger) and the other was a non-issue. Everywhere I've read, parts are not available so I am concerned as to why my vehicle was all of a sudden "fixed" when I began filing complaints on my local dealership. I believe it is possible that I am driving around a ticking timebomb that has not yet been fixed thus jeopardizing me and my passengers. I think they are engaging in shady business practices locally, but as of lately this seems nationally to be a company-wide Ford/Lincoln philosophy, and the local dealership is just a symptom, not the cause.
