When I touch my brakes lightly I get a loud squeal. Not consistent, this is random.

When the brake was pushed to the floor, there was a squealing noise. When the brake was pushed you could hear a hissing noise. Sometimes the brake pedal would be hard. I could understand this in a car with high mileage but this car only had less than 36,000 on it when this started. I had read where there was a recall on the 2010-2013 models, just wish the 2008 had been recalled also.

When dealership in Dover Delaware told me they did not know what the squealing noise was coming from my brakes (UNLESS, I paid $120 to be hooked up to their diagnostic machine) or the reason it was difficult to stop, I decided to look online to find out what the issue was. YEP, there I discovered it is a common issue with Lincoln MKX 2008. The parts for the airbag recall were never done and they told me not to let someone sit in the front passenger seat. SERIOUSLY Why hasn't a class action been brought against Lincoln for these common issues?
