Wires to headlights brittle and/or broken. This vehicle has headlights that move the direction steering wheel is turned and also self adjust height up and down as vehicle is traveling. The almost constant movement of headlamp is causing wires to become brittle and break causing headlight failure. Not only is this unsafe, but it appears that some repair shops are saying the fuse box needs to be replaced and reprogrammed to repair symptom. Some people may just think a headlamp is burned out and after replacing bulb, light still won't work. Those who continue to drive risk loosing other headlight at same time. There is no warning indicator in car to notify driver there is a headlamp out so a person could easily be driving with one light and not even notice. Upon searching internet I noticed other late model Ford products with same problem. On my car the insulation was still in tact so it was not easily noticed, but yes the wire was physically broken inside wire insulation. My car has never been in a car accident, nor has it been worked on by anyone other than Lincoln dealership or myself. There is a cap that has to be removed from headlight housing before one could access this sealed off area.
