Design failure. Lincoln Mkx instrument panel does not light up in the daytime. Consequently, it is extremely difficult to see the speedometer and know how fast you are going, especially in bright sunshine and traveling N or S as the speedometer is in deep shadow. The potential for excessive speed accidents is great!
