Takata recall: I got into my Mkx and closed the door and the rear windshield exploded, there were no dings or chips and nothing hit into it. I've been reading online and it looks like its a problem I can't afford to have it fixed and I am hoping Ford will do the right thing. Thank you

During heavy rain storm had to pull over to the side of the road. Windshield wipers did not operate. Took car into service. They had to replace the entire windshield wiper motor assembly.
