I've seen several other poor bastards like myself that have had to go deal with the service departments in their cities to fix this same problem. One made me actually feel bad for complaining about this only being my 4th time to have the same problem fixed. In his situation, he's had to go 9 separate times. 9 SEPARATE TIMES!

Each time I drive this "luxury car" to the dealership to get the intermittent fan problem fixed, they tell me they couldn't find an issue. That's what "intermittent problems" do. They hide! I expect these factory service experts to know. They go look it up on their "Customer brings this problem to your doorstep" database and it says, "Go check the fan relay", "Go check the fan resistor", "Go to the bin and get one of those Chinese blower motors with the cardboard squirrel cage! We've worked ourselves into a corner and have to bite this one!".

But no... they keep it in the shop for several days to "watch it and continue testing it". Meanwhile, I'm stuck for a loaner that I had to beg to get.

I know this is a problem they've seen several times before. Why hasn't someone done a review and... I don't know... test the fan relays to see if they are breaking down due to being in close proximity to the motor? Maybe it's time to upgrade the relay.

In any case, it's annoying, it's time-consuming and, much like the problem with the short-life batteries that go out at exactly the 17 months and 29-day mark, it's inevitable.

Poor showin' Ford! POOR showin' indeed.
