Nov 30rd, at the time of buying the 2016 MKX FWD, per the salesman, we chose the FWD because its costs less, and use a lots less gas compare to the AWD. A few days later, we found that it wobbles/ swirls when accelerated. We called the Salesman to hear that it's the normal characteristics of FWD. We took it to Services, the Services Foreman, Adviser and the Services Director told us: there is no fix, only AWD doesn't wobble/swirls when accelerated. We spoke to a Sales Manager to get out of the 2016 MKX FWD contract, and get into an AWD contract, and the dealership is considering our FWD car worth up to only $35,000 trade in, out of $53,000 purchased price. We contacted Lincoln corporation, the manager offered us to bring it into another Lincoln dealership, knowing that one of their dealership services engineers already acknowledged the same problems from a couple clients, including mine, and claimed this problem is their FWD normal characteristics. The manager has denied for us to bring the car to an independent dealership and was unable to help us any further. She said she will only call us if this normal characteristic become Lincoln's problem/ recall in the future. We bought a very powerful, and expensive car, but unable to use its abilities, because it is UNSAFE to accelerate. Who would buy a very powerful and expensive car and be afraid or can't step on the gas? Lincoln needs to disclose the MKX FWD- DEFECTIVE DESIGNS that they claimed to be the normal characteristics to their customers at the time of buying. Or they need to stop putting the Eco Boost Eng on the FWD MKX cars.

A few days later, we found that it wobbles/ swirls when accelerated at any speed. We called the Salesman: “It swirls because the car is too powerful”. We took it to Service, the Foreman, Adviser and Director told us: “There is no fix, it’s the normal characteristics for FWD to swirl when accelerated, only AWD doesn't have this problem”. They have then referred us to the Sale Manager to get out of the 2016 MKX FWD contract, and get into an AWD contract, but the Sale Manager was quoting our trade in value for only $35,000 out of $53,000 purchased price. We have contacted Lincoln Corporation, the Manager offered us to bring it into another Lincoln dealership, knowing that one of their dealerships service department has already acknowledged the same problems from a couple clients, including mine, and claimed this problem as their FWD normal characteristics.
