The contact owns a 2007 Lincoln Mkz. The contact stated that there was an abnormally strong fuel odor coming from the vehicle while parked in the contact's garage. Upon further inspection, the contact witnessed fuel leaking from the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that there was extensive corrosion and rust on the fuel tank. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 187,000. Updated 01/11/2017 updated 01/26/17
