Purchased car new, never had any problems. The dash is peeling up and looks horrible. How do I get this repaired?

I am taking to dealership to check on fix or replacement. I've never had a dash separate before. The air vent apparently lost, either the clips that were holding it or the glue used was defective..

This was a lease car at the time and was not worried about but didn't have but 9000 miles on it. So I decided to buy it. I took to it to the dealer, they ordered a new dash, it has been back ordered 30 times or more. Ford call me about every 2 weeks with up date same old story, can,t get a dash, not good advertisement for Lincoln, bad when you can't get parts . Nice car but this has put a bad taste in my mouth, don't know if I will buy another one because of this. I have 2 a Navigators and this MKZ. I don't know what else to do Lincoln, gave me $500 for my trouble but that does not fix it. John Humes

I first noticed my dash warping in the middle up by the windshield. It is very hot where I live. I tried to keep it covered but it just grew bigger and bigger. Then the cover shrunk and drew back. several months later I noticed the shrinkage above my speed-o-meter. The material just pulled away where it had been glued in. Same thing is happening to the cover on my steering wheel.
I never took it in and complained about it as I figured they would do nothing about it. After reading the comments on here I see that I was correct in my assumption. I had a little time to kill so thought I would make a complaint for others to see as it may make a difference but I doubt it. I paid a lot of money for this car but I wont be purchasing another Lincoln if they are put together this shoddy.
