Ford seems to have problems with their brakes. I'm a Ford guy and every Ford product I've owned since the 90s has had bizarre braking system issues. Front and rear rotors and pads were brand new in March 2018 when I bought the car. Front brakes became warped on one side, and I brought it in for Takata airbag recall and mentioned this. They looked at it and diagnosed one of the calipers had a stuck slide pin, which caused premature pad wear and warped the rotor. Replaced front pads and rotors and he freed up the caliper. Expensive repair when pads should have been good for another 20k miles at least.
