Takata recall: I want to purchase a new car but because this recall is listed on it for so long a period now, no dealership is willing to offer me any amount close to what my car would be valued otherwise as a trade-in. There is something very wrong with the fact that I am being severely financially punished because of this recall. We are talking many thousands of dollars here. I very much want to know my legal rights in this matter. I also believe that dealers are purposely using this as a way to pressure potential buyers like myself into dumping their vehicles because they feel helpless in this situation. I anxiously await a reply and a solution to this as soon as possible. Thank you, [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
