The air blower and radio automatically adjust. The air will turn on and off by itself and go from low speed to full blast and all in between. The radio automatically adjusts volume by itself. Luckily, so far when it-??s happens it can be turned off and doesn-??t come back on. However, you can see the lights on the volume button control going crazy from high to low. It happens continually. The radio can barely be used because it won-??t stay consistent

The middle rear seat belt locks up when you fold the seat down and the only way to lift the seat is to remove the seat belt from the car and allow it to fully retract. But as soon as the seat get laid down again you have to repeat the process. There are multiple videos on YouTube of multiple ford vehicles having the same problem. Secondly periodically all the lights on the dash come on and it says all the Advanced Driver Assistant systems aren-??t working and the electronic assist powersteering stops working. It lasts anywhere from a couple minutes or until the car is turned off for a long time. There are also multiple videos on YouTube showing the same problem on multiple Lonicoln MKZ-??s.

FCIM failure causes AC unit to activate randomly. Windows can fog without warning causing an unsafe driving condition. Also, from YouTube videos - this defect can also cause rear windows to lock/unlock unexpectedly (I have not yet experienced this).

I am a 66 yr old woman who got into her car at midnite for a long ride home and as I pressed my start button nothing happened! the lights, the radio and the cold air was blowing but it kept giving me the message to press the start button.I was on a dark street leaving a friends home and my car would not start. I had to call a tow truck and they proceeded to try to jump start my car but it would not go into neutral so he could put it on his flat bed.after 1 hour he managed to get it on the flat bed and take to the dealer.at first they thought starter or alternator but instead it was part of a bulletin that was out regarding this problem. I have had 5 recalls on this car and then I was stranded at midnite. Is this a reliable car for a senior citizen" I have had this car exactly 1 year and have had more problems then all the junk cars I have owned in previous years. I want to trade it in for all the aggravation this car has cost me. Are there more recalls coming??? shouldn't I be reimbursed for this trouble? why did I have to pay $99 to have my car fixed" answers please!!!

  • 3,000 miles
Vehicle locked out of ability to shift from park to reverse. The car needed to be restarted several times over 20 minutes in order to shift into reverse. Caused obstacle to traffic. Blind cross traffic alert and forward collision warning alarm is activated without proper stimulus, slowing the vehicle automatically when there is no threat of collision. This almost caused three separate accidents. Lincoln service suggested disabling this safety feature. Note that the forward collision warning does not meet NHTSA standard according to jd powers.
