The contact owns a 2015 Lincoln MKZ. The contact stated that after entering the vehicle, the driver-??s side door failed to close securely. The contact held the door closed while driving. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who referred the contact to the dealer for assistance. The contact called the local dealer who was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and informed the contact to follow the instructions from the dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 72,000.
