I was driving on Interstate 5, travelling at approximately 70 miles an hour, when the car all of sudden just turned off. A big warning light came on my left side of the display saying, Pull over safely and turn car off. The steering became really heavy but I managed to pull over to the side of the road. I was able to turn the vehicle back on and was curious what had just happened.
Luckily for me I was scheduled to turn my car in for a scheduled maintenance a week later. I told the mechanics there at the Lincoln dealership what had happened and they said they will do a diagnostic test to see what went wrong. They later told me that no new codes came up in the diagnostic test and that the vehicle was running great. Two weeks later it happened again and again another week later. I will be taking my car in to have serviced again until they fix the problem.
