loss of power no acceleration warning lights

Loss of acceleration while traveling 60mph - warning lights -went from 60 to 30 almost immediately. Dangerous while traveling in traffic. Pulled over turned vehicle off. Warning lights off had acceleration - 10 miles down the road happened again. Not covered by vehicle warranty too old 2011 - extended warranty does not cover. Wonder why this is an issue with only 40,000 miles??? Recall issue with MKZ hybrid? Pending recall on Ford because of same issue - will I get reimbursed once the recall includes Lincoln? What luck!!!
