I had been told by allot of people that the suspensions on the Navigators would go bad after a couple years. Well that is what exactly happened to me the rear of the Navigator is so low the tires hit the car if people sit in the back. I have not got an estimenite on this problem because I am a single parent and disabled to the fact of an accident. A friend of mine that works at a mechanic shop told me that they have this problem with these kind of cars all the time. And that it is not cheep to get it fixed. Some people have replaced them with shocks but the suspension light stays on. That is what my mother had to do when she was on a trip that turned bad because of the suspension she paid over $600.00 to get it fixed and her trip was cancealed to a 3 day trip instead of 1 week. Of course the Ford company will not cover it unless you have insurance on it this was my dream car and it had turned into a nightmare
