The contact owns a 2007 Lincoln Navigator. The contact stated that while driving approximately 10 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic for diagnosis. The technician stated that the fuel pump had become burned and would need replacing. The contact stated that the fuel pump had to be replaced with an after market fuel pump because the original part was no longer being manufactured. The vehicle was repaired but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 115,704.
