Town Car 8-cyl

  • Automatic transmission

Last wed., Nov. 8th., 2006 my Lincoln towncar cartier died. When the tow truck came, he popped open the hood and noticed that a fuse had popped up. He pushed it down and the car strted. That same afternoon, it happened again, and I was able to fix it the same way. I had the car checked for electrical defects, as well as fuse problems and there were none. Lithia in reno said that the terminals were loose under the fuse box, requiring a new one total cost: $1900 I am very distressed about this. This is a luxury car and it shouldn't be happening. I am afraid it will happen again. I feel that it is a manufacturer's defect and they should pay the expense. I have already spent over $100. Of my own money.
