blisters appeared on the paint of left read door

So, I purchased my Mazda 3 Sport in October of 2023, in Lethbridge, AB, Canada. It's been a decent whip, for the most part. In March of this year, after a wash, I discovered a cluster of blisters protruding through the paint on the left rear door. I suspected this to be the early stages of rust, which was surprising, seeing that the vehicle was still under warranty. to confirm my suspicion, I took the car to a body shop and was told that indeed it was rust.

My next action was to, of course, go to a Mazda dealership, to report the problem. I did this in hopes that they would fix the problem, thinking that Mazda would be loyal to me as I was to them (four Mazda vehicles between my wife, my in laws and myself.......three of which were purchase between 2020 and 2023) this process took approximately three months before I was asked to bring the car in for an appraisal. After the appraisal, I didn't hear from the Mazda dealership, Stoney Trail Mazda in Calgary, for another month. I called in to inquire about the status of my claim, to be told that Mazda will not cover/correct the problem.

My next step was to contact Mazda Canada, where I spoke to a very nice young lady......This made me feel hopeful. After approximately six weeks, I followed up with an email inquiring about the status of my claim. I shortly thereafter, received, what I can only perceive as a corporate response, sort of a cut an paste well crafted set of words, like those that a legal department of some corporations would keep on hand to send out to pesty customers, advising that they will not be helping.

It has been very disappointing, to say the least. I was advised by an acquaintance, a person that worked for the same dealership, in the finance department, that the auto industry was the most dishonest industry; now I can say that I have experienced it first hand.
