Mazda 626 LX 96' transmission trouble, the transmission consistantly has problems, it's dangerous, because it will go out, at the most inconvient time. It will jolt, or slow down, extremely fast, or slip, at a stop light, and it's scary, luckly there has been no problems, if it has happed on the highway, there's no doubt there could be an accident. I have a 1996 Mazda 626 LX. With in three or four months of having this car I had to have the transmission rebuilt. Now seven months later my overdrive light has starting flashing and it doesnt want to go..my car is in the shop now having transmission fixed again..this time something is wrong with second gear.
