My 2001 Mazda 626 is having transmission problems. It hesitates in reverse while pushing the accelerator, after a few seconds it kicks into reverse and goes. I was told this is the transmission which will cost around $2600 to repair. My car has around 138000 miles, I just replaced the water reservoir, thermostat, radiator, water pump (for the second time in the last 30000 miles) and the timing belt.
